So there's no similarity. When these dogs are first found, they were thought to be dogs that may have been related to hyenas. And after families that the fossilized are made of, they now know that these dogs are not related to hyenas at all. They have some characteristics and the strengths of their jaws, but these dogs still have jaws that have much more crunchy ability than the hyenas nowadays. These dogs have been pretty formidable in their time, and as I said earlier, certainly wouldn't want to be passing one of these things in the dark.
