design in place for our spacecraft that could hold up to 2,400 people for a one-way trip to our nearest star system at Alpha Centauri. So it's about 25 trillion miles, 40 trillion kilometers from Earth. And with patent technology, that flight time would be around 400 years. And the spaceship is known as the Chrysalis and is designed to hold several generations of people until it reaches its destination. And once there, they'd be transported to a planet that's in that system that's called Procterina Centauri D, which is approximately the size of Earth and is believed to be, well at least believed to have a habitable environment. And long before this flight were to happen, people would be required to live in an isolated environment for adaptation purposes from 70 to 80 years. After that, the next generation will be ready to go.
