Alright Graham, yeah well, yeah, being careful how you handle your radio and your microphone can avoid your chunks, but sometimes people just want to see if their radio is working at all, so it's good to identify when you're checking your equipment, but it's not a killer if someone just does it, you know, once in a while it does happen. I have a question, what model full-fang if you got, and also I wanted to mention that you might just want to double-double-check that you're getting the right programming cable for that because there have been over time different programming cables that are available and they're not all as compatible as some others, so maybe you just check that before you pump down your dollars to make sure that it's one that is for that model. So what model have you got, a radio, and I know I've got several UV-82s which is my favorite model.
