But I had an amazing time and I did about 185 miles of some pretty challenging off-road on my BMW GS adventure. And that was my first time doing that kind of stuff on that bike and it was incredible and I gained confidence and skill and learned a ton of stuff, met a bunch of amazing people and while I was there, I made friends with, I believe, a total of eight different hand radio operators, none of whom I knew prior and I made a bunch of contacts and had since met up for coffee with a couple of them, real nice folks. And just really enjoyed the whole weekend. It was kind of affirming of my whole new hobby. But that's why I haven't been on radio much because I have been motorcycling. I met 17,752 miles as of yesterday on a bike that is 384 days old for me and so far so good. I know it on that. I was recently humbled as I went up to BMW GS.
