And then as that height moves northeast and the low pressure off the coast is also influencing this monsoonal flow, it's going to drag moisture northward because the flow around that high is of course counterclockwise and around the low is counterclockwise. So that's bringing air up from the southeast out of Mexico could cause thunderstorms over the Sierra's. In the valley temperatures could get up to 100 or more next week, but there could be Sunday night and early Monday that might bring some showers to the southern part of the valley, especially into the San Joaquin Valley. That mon just depends on how far west and how far north that tropical moisture comes. So that's the deal.
