Hey, that gives us a good list of two. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to run this list real quick. And then I'm going to get to news, which I meant to put two earlier. But I'll keep it on the quick side so we can then get more check-ins then. But I do want to do the announcements after these two check-ins. So let's start with Bill over in Kingston, KC5, WFH. What you got going on? Come ahead. Thank you, Dave. Good morning to all out there listening. Only one item to share. We have a little internet radio station here in Kingston. And you can find it on KingstonLocal.org. Check it out. They play mostly local artists and Sprinkle and some other more popular artists in there as well. So just a fun little radio station. Again, KingstonLocal.org. Let's see. Another good day unfolding for us over here. And we appreciate the rain we got here a couple of days ago for sure. Hope you guys got something down there, Dave. Carry on. Have a good one, KC5, WFH. Bill. Hey, Bill. Thanks for that. I'll have to look that one up and check it out. KingstonLocal.org. OK. I will check that out for sure. And thanks for the info there. And yeah, we have a station here that is the single most eclectic radio station I've ever heard. And it's out of Madras. And it's called KJIV. K-J-I-V. They do it. They do internet broadcast as well. And they are lots of fun. You'll get everything. Like, you'll hear they'll play like some country tune, you know, Merle Haggard or something. The very next one will be AC DC. And then there'll be some jazz. And then there'll be some classical. And it just, it's all over the board. And it's so much fun. I just love it. And then they do have a couple of specific shows that they do on specific days that you kind of know what you're going to get. But for the most part, it is very eclectic. And it's just fun. It's all get out. And so you might check that out, KJIV. And I know you can find it online there. So anyway, thanks, Bill. We'll catch you later. 73, happy Friday. Let's see what Matt's up to. KJ7WQI. Take it away, Matt. Hello there, Dave and everybody on the net. Yeah, I'm here on a day off here in Boston. It's real nice out. Pretty warm, but not too hot. And the topic of a little doing your own radio station, I, we used to have a toy around the house when I was a kid. It was one of those things that you plug in to a CD player. And you could broadcast on a specific radio signal so that your radio would pick up the CD player. It didn't have the ability to plug in an aux cable. But we had kind of messed with the wiring a little bit. Because I think it was meant to be in your car. But we had messed with the wiring so you could pick it up through the whole house. So it might have been a small little pirate radio station. But it didn't go far enough to be troublesome. But yeah, that brought back a deep memory from childhood. That must have been like 10, 11, 12 at that point. Anyways, just chilling on a day off, a much needed day off. I've been working for like a week straight. It's nice to kick my feet up for a minute, take a couple deep breaths, and relax. Just went and did some grocery shopping and got back to the house. Wondered if the net was still running. Looks like it is. And I wanted to pop in and say hello. So I'll throw it back to you, Dave. Thanks for running that. Hope everybody's doing fine. KJ7WQI. Hey, Matt. Great to hear from you this morning. And yeah, that sounds like fun. So I can dig that. Yeah. Well, 73s, have a wonderful day off for sure. And it sounds like you definitely deserve it. So go for it. Yeah, go do something crazy. Sounds like my kind of day. Anyway, 73s, and we will catch you later. All right. Hey, I need to do the announcements real quick. I'll do a quick version of them, maybe not touch on everything that is out there. But let's get the highlights and the important points in real quick before I move on. So let me let it drop, and I will get started on the news from the high desert. OK. As you know, this net meets every day, 365 days a year, on the PSRJ repeater in Seattle, Washington. That's 9 AM noon and 9 PM. Next one coming up, of course, is Jack's Nooner. OK. There you go. OK. Let's see. Other points of serious importance. Don't forget that the simplex net Saturday night at 8 PM is on 146.56. And the radio club at Tacoma on Saturday from 10 to 2 is having an open house. Go in and meet your friends and get an eyeball with some other hams. And yeah, everybody is welcome. So go check out the radio club of Tacoma. All right. Sunday the 10th, mission critical. Season 7, episode 5 of the noon net Rain or Shine. At the east side of Green Lake down by the Paddle Boat Reynolds, just north of the Paddle Boat Reynolds. And it's an ice cream social, so go get some ice cream. You'll get a little voucher when you get there. And you can go over to the local ice cream shop and get an ice cream cone. So there you go. And yeah, go have fun. Meet up with other members of the PSRJ and have a good time. And hey, sounds like a hook for you. Wish I could be there. But we will be up there on Wednesday, briefly, passing through. So there you go. August 17, Shoreline Community College, vintage electronics swap meet. So go up and check that out. It's always fun. They've always got some really neat, goofy old stuff up there and it's really fun. So go check that out. And the Wooden Boat Fest is coming up September 5 through the 7th. So go check that out in Port Townsend. And today is National Frozen Custard Day. What a burger day. Sleep under the stars night. CBD day. Pickleball day. Ironically, today is bocce ball day for me. We have friends coming over to play bocce tonight. And Ron's game is pickleball. And today is National Pickleball Day. So think of Ron when you're thinking about pickleball. Mochi day. Dollar day. And Happiness Happens day. Sneak a zucchini onto your neighbor's porch day. I love that one. Oh man, I wish I had some. Our local produce gives away these giant zucchinis this time of year because they can't sell them. It would be fun to get one of those and go sneak it onto my neighbor's porch. Anyway, alright, that's the news from the high desert. I'm listening for more radio check-ins. Name and call sign please. It's 10 a.m. Take it away. Who's out there? Come in. B1UKZ with another recheck. No rush. Okay, let me see if I can get a couple of check-ins here, Daryl. I'll get you there with another recheck. Hang on a second. Next station, please. KP7RYY, Dan. Good morning, Dan. I got you on the list. Good to hear from you. And next check-in. Whiskey 6 Foxtrot Delta Uniform, Bim and Seattle. Whiskey 6 Foxtrot Delta Uniform, got you on the list. Next check-in, please.
