We lost you Josh. I think I signed out there. I am pretty sure I signed out there. Anyhow I'm back. The second bonus question is if you had a magic button to improve one part of your hand radio life what would it be? That magic button is AI. So don't think about the AI part but just think about it. If I could easily do something to improve my hand radio life what would it be? Let's talk about it if you don't mind together and see if there's something that AI could possibly do for you. With that I'm sending it up to AA4H01 in Marymoor Florida to mic his voice. Okay I remember the old saying about buttons you know that you're not sure what they'll do if you push them. Like watch this famous last words or I wonder what this would do. These are the famous last words. There's a whole list of them. You can look them up on Google. I'm looking at a button right now and I don't know if it should be pushed or not. This wasn't from AI this was something that I saw what I could do with this all-star bridge that's un-broadcasted by. That button if I pushed it you know I like posted on X. I don't know how it would work if all of a sudden there were 50 people listening that never heard of this before. Since my account exploded and I posted this a lot of people would see it and they could listen. I would put on there like a round table net of amateur radio operators covering wide range topics. On everyday between such and such feedback welcome in my messages. That I don't know if it would be a good idea and I wouldn't do that unless I think I'd let somebody else do it. I've had AI do coding for me. I was trying to get a video off X to send to somebody. There's videos on there sometimes that I thought would be nice to post on Discord or something. I thought everybody would be interested in it seeing. AI is a breakthrough technology. I don't want to get too far off topic here but it's a leader and it's helping a lot of industries. People that are investors look for breakthrough technologies that companies have because they end up posting higher earnings and sales. It's helping the economy. With that I pushed out to improve my air radio life. I don't know if you can do something. Should you do it? Just because you can do something doesn't mean you should do something. That's all I had to say about that. I was interested in this broadcast. Whoever set it up I think it's a good idea. I think it could be promoted. That's not up to me and I wouldn't do it. I'd let somebody else who is in the management. I'm just a user here. Connecting all store notes and broadcast to one-way audio streams. Basically anybody in the world gets to hear it. I'll let Gray speak to that since I know that's in his website. The broadcast filing does work. In fact Gabby made a wonderful one-click button that will allow anybody to connect to it. You can share that I believe easily. You may not need to connect your notes to broadcast to five unless you're trying to connect your specific note rather than the count, bungalow, or the do drop in. It sounded like he was talking about camera and do drop in. In plain English you're just going to run an audio capture app on the computer and it's going to feed it into your broadcast file through a source client like IceCast and Shellcast. I actually know a lot about broadcast file and IceCast and Shellcast years ago. I was really digging into that video and stuff. The entire setup is really cool. Anyhow, it's not that hard to do. So don't be scared to do it if you're going to do your own notes. With that I will pass it over to KC2PKG and let him talk a little bit more about the broadcast file on the dodropin.info website. KC2PKG.com. They do a great job because they like to do a great job. I will say though, there were some comments that people were making about the individuals. It's a very mixed group of individuals and stuff like that. Air radio can be a very unfriendly place and I think we work hard to be welcoming and be friendly. That's important. That brings me onto my next topic which is a team sport. It's all the efforts of everybody on the cow-bung-a-net is what makes it what it is today. We had an issue, and I'll talk about it because we're allowed to, where somebody was getting bullied. It had gone on and gone on and gone on. I had no idea it was going on. It was happening at times when I'm not connected in the pre-net, on the sunday-net. Things like that. Just little snide comments. Things like this. But finally, the person just didn't want to hear it anymore. And they backed out of the net completely. And both sides backed out of the net because I haven't heard from the other one. The supposed perpetrator. I haven't heard from him since Monday, I don't think. So that's a disaster. These are both net controllers. We need net controllers. We need good ones who can draw people out and all that stuff. But I'll get onto your question there, Josh. While you were talking about that, I would love a button that looks up what somebody just said. I would love that. If somebody says something, whether you think it's true or false or whatever, but you hit the button and it goes, this is the skinny on what they just said. I would love that. That would be fantastic. But it made me think. I said, well, an AI could be net control. Couldn't it? I bet it could. I don't know how you would train it or go about doing it. But an AI net control. That would have been pretty wild. I think how easy it would be to set up nets. If you had an AI, that could be a net control. So with that thought, I put that in your thought, in your thinker. So the other thing about team effort, let me drop it for a second. All right. KC2PKG returning very, very briefly. It is a team effort. We all want to hear about anything untoward that's going on. If somebody is being rude, if they are biting back too hard, if they're bullying, that needs to be raised up. Don't be polite about that. This is one of the things that just should not happen on this net at all. It's one of our strengths. So not like anybody's going to get fired or banned or anything like that, but people need to know. And I wish I had known that this was kind of going on and it was serious. Serious enough to make somebody leave. So with that, I can pass it back to you. KK5IRQ, this is KC2PKG. KC2PKG, KJ5IRQ. That's the one thing about a cowabunga that I can say is we can talk about the hard things. And you're absolutely right, it's a disaster. Both are hamburger operators. Both are net controllers for this net. And I would like to think it's probably a misunderstanding that got way out of line. That's typically how these things happen. Again, adults at the table need to be able to sit down and talk it out. It takes a long while. It's been enough for both of you. It's not your interacting. So I appreciate you bringing that out to the forefront. I have got to do something else with my phone. I keep touching the first talk button and it turns me off. As I was saying though, those are the things that make this net great. We can talk about the things that hurt us. And as we should. People don't. I tell my wife all the time, if you don't communicate and tell me what I do to make you mad, how can I fix it? And I know I make her mad. She's done things and I don't like making her mad. So Bill has asked to join our team, our chat today, and I am going to join him right behind me. Because there's nobody in mind. Because he has not had a chance to talk today and it's been a while for me to talk to. And well, he's got to pay the bills. And to be honest, I don't want to make a break. So hopefully we'll have to teach who's next. And, uh, Greg, the AI Net Controller has been an idea in my head and on my chat for about two weeks now. I have an entire project dedicated to figuring out how to make something like that happen. I'm also with a valid concern about the FCC regulations that we need to look into to make sure that you can do something like that. I'm actually looking at it more towards the line of ADA assistance. Blind guys and girls could use AI to be the Net Controller and they can speak to it and have it control what they need it to control so they don't have to sit and touch it. Um, that's what I was thinking. But having it completely run in that, that's an idea. We should look at that together and that could be a lot of fun. Uh, great. Use purpose for Discord. You can set up a project in there and work on it together with other people. Okay. Well, we are going to move on to Visti KN4 LBF. It's a little after eight and I know she's using these around the eight, so I was trying to curve and get her in there to hope I didn't miss her. Uh, Visti, the mic is yours. This is Kay. Excuse me. This is Kay and 4LBF. This is Dee. I hope you can hear me. Um, I had to switch over to my cell because, um, my internet is down, which has been happening quite often this week. I think it's happening to everyone, which it really concerns me. Um, the magic button. So, um, like right now, when I went, when my, when my internet went down, I had to go into my cell phone and I had it in direct and I had to change it to relay. So I went like a button that when something happens on the phone that, that it doesn't, I would just press the button and it would just change the setting to accommodate to the correct way where I don't have to figure it out. Is that a lazy brain or what? That is a lazy brain. Anyway, but my concern is AI is great, but it needs a source. It needs WiFi, internet, it needs something. You could get it in a computer, I mean without a source, but, um, it works best with a source. Um, just like Alexa. Oh, she turned on. Oh, she's off. She's turning red when I, she's saying she's having trouble understanding. Anyway, um, but my concern is what we briefly discussed yesterday. Gray knows what I'm talking about. I think it's going to happen sooner than later. And, um, you know, that's just what I'm thinking about. But yeah, a button that will fix everything and, you know, to when something like that happens and you have to go in and figure out the settings and all that. Anyway, back to you, Josh. This is K and 4 LBS. And this week, um, I'm on, I'm on because I have to stay home for another week. And I do want to apologize about talking about my cat. Sorry, I didn't even think about it. Anyway, back to you, Josh. This is K and 4 LBS. Hello, this is Steve. Don't let my old jazz talk about cats. You'll make their old gray, both very unhappy, blind cats a lot. And, um, man, I just lost my mirror. I was about to say something and it disappeared. I hate it when it does that. Easy button. You're easy button. I, that is a beta my existence with that going. I never know if I'm able to connect through a proxy or through a relay. I don't do direct very much yet, but I usually keep with proxy or relay. And I've learned that if I keep a device connected via relay to the Echo Link conference, which I have an iPhone that I don't use. It's just an iPhone. There's no Wi-Fi. Now all I can get is Wi-Fi. And I usually keep that connected to my All Store Note. Um, and so I've realized that a couple of days, I keep that connected to Echo Link. But then I always have an access to the relay, which I think for some reason in my mind will expand it into proxy. I really don't understand it. I could utilize the magic button just to add to understand it better. But my focus is more on the All Store side rather than the Echo Link side. So I'm only calling it one of these most of the time because it's so dependable. Um, with that, we're going to turn the mic over to Leo. Leo, we've had a couple of questions other day. Well, we had one question other day and a cack on. Um, you being the owner, if you will, of the G-Drop In network and a big part of the cow's looking at what? I'm going to address the question a little bit for you, if you see. What do you get out of providing this net for everybody? And if people don't know this, the bill provides this net for everybody. He pays the bills. Um, there has been some talk about what we can do to help offset that if he's interested. Um, of course we don't force anything on the bill because he pays the bills. Um, and so the question of the day was what brings you to the cow bug in that whether it's every day or every couple of weeks, every couple of months, what brings you to the cow bug in that and why? And then the follow up question is if you have that magic button, I'm using my magic button, what would you use the fork to enhance your ham radio eye? So with that, I'll turn it over to you. Bill, this is KJ Time. I'll let you know. The mic is yours. Well, that's a lot of, that's a lot to hit a guy so early in the morning. Um, yeah, just, uh, well, I woke up, uh, I, I set my alarm for about, uh, 15 minutes after the net started because it's early in the morning here. My wife and I stayed up, we watched, uh, summer monsters with Bell Gibson and we watched, um, uh, first episode of Wednesday and actually they have four. So, uh, I imagine we're going to be watching, uh, another one tonight. Um, so that was a nice night, uh, somewhat relaxing, uh, watching the movies of my life. And, uh, now we're at the yard, uh, put the truck in the shop yesterday and I gotta go see if they fixed it or, uh, if it's still waiting to be fixed. Um, but that's, uh, what's going on here. I did talk to my mom. My mom took a fall earlier this week, uh, on Sunday. Uh, she took a fall, knocked out her tooth, uh, fractured both sides of her, uh, one of the bones in her arm. So she's at a friend's house for a couple of weeks, uh, getting taken care of, uh, stealing some good drugs, I'll tell you that. Uh, but, uh, because of the short time that I'm home, on my end of the student, she passed, uh, so that was good. Uh, so she's trying to get on the Walmart account, uh, so I might be seeing her up there. Hopefully she's home. Hopefully they got her a truck and she went home. Um, but we went out, we tried, uh, this Hawaiian place. My wife, uh, my wife, you know, she sent me this picture, she goes all up to this table. We went down to, uh, American furniture warehouse and, uh, just doesn't count like a side table. And she looked at it and, you know, uh, we ended up buying it. We brought it home. It's one of these ones you got to put together. This is Peter's Station, Loke 7, November, Quebec, November, All Star, Node 6222, located in Shelton, Washington. Uh, hopefully, because I don't, uh, sorry, I almost got run over by a truck. So he's, he taught me to go ahead. Uh, sorry about that. Alright, uh, let me go ahead and grab one so I can, uh, answer at least one of the questions, into the questions, um, before I time out. Alright, well, I'm one of those ones that have been out here on the New Jump In forever. Uh, I was back when, uh, Don, uh, KBRAD, uh, was, uh, head of the Breakfast Club net. And, uh, you know, as a truck driver, you know, it was hard getting connected with repeaters and, and doing stuff while I was driving. And, uh, when I came across the Do Drop In, I found out I could do it on my phone. Uh, it was, it was, uh, my Godson just gave me an opportunity to get out there and communicate with other hams, uh, from all over the world. Uh, and, uh, talk to them and, uh, this was real easy, you know, with a headset and a, uh, a phone. So I really, uh, enjoyed just coming out here and, and, and making friends. And I've been able to, uh, also, uh, stop and see some of these people while I was out over the road. Not as much anymore with this dedicated account. It's just a great place to, uh, come out and hang out because being an over-road truck driver, you don't get the opportunity to, uh, make a lot of friends. Uh, I mean, I've made, I've made some friends with, from students over the years. Um, but, you know, I'm only home, you know, two days a month, maybe four days a month. Um, so there's, and, uh, you know, work is always changing, especially when I was over the road, uh, with a dedicated account. You know, I've made some friends up there in Korean, but it's just, uh, uh, these are where my friends are. So, uh, you know, over the years with the different, uh, things that have happened, I've been able to, uh, uh, give back, hopefully a little bit to what I've gotten out of the group. And I'm, uh, happy to, uh, keep everything going here. Uh, because, uh, I know it's, uh, a, a place for, uh, some other people to, uh, come out and, uh, be with their friends. So, that's, uh, kind of what I get out of it. Uh, I get, I get my, my friends and I get, uh, well, more like family now. Um, and I get the opportunity to, uh, uh, communicate and be part of, part of, uh, uh, the community. But, over here at the shop, I gotta go find out. There's no place my truck's been moved, so, uh, I'm gonna go talk to them real quick. But go ahead and keep me on the list. Uh, I shall be here.
