Because technically, the law says you're not supposed to ride them on the quads on the street. You ever allowed to ride them for up to one kilometer on pavement while you're headed to a trail. And technically, any spot in the neighborhood is only one kilometer away. It's not like it's a big area. So I can get away with that. But if it's a street legal motorcycle, it has to be registered as such. I can't apparently just can't take the plate bracket off it and say, no, it's not a street bike. It's a dirt bike now.
