Cystic fibrosis is inherited as a recessive. That is to say you've gotta have two copies of the CF gene in order to have the disease. So the question I asked is for this marriage to powder zygotes, 12 parents as normal, they marry, what is the chance that a normal child of this marriage will be a carrier. Now, I can think of five or six places on the internet that have an answer, and it's the wrong one. The actual answer is that two thirds of the normal children of this marriage will have a copy of the cystic fibrosis allele. The reason for that is that
