Well I was going to place it on a mast, it's just about at the wall of my shack. I have a lot that's 70 feet by 40 feet, but that's it. So if you get the room for it, it's kind of at 5-8th wave in 10th, which works really well on 2 meters. Here's for me in the past. I've talked from Tacoma all the way up to Kamino Island on 2 meters FM with no problem to N7XS. And then I changed the antennas. I should have went back to that one. It's called a fire stick antenna, S-I-R-E-S-T-I-K. There's no C that's not spilled out like a normal stick. But they have a 2-meter ground wave.
