It's Madeline KJ7NUW. Nice to hear you're not Rebecca. I'm just kind of like relaxing this evening, taking it kind of easy. And um, yeah I got back earlier this week from a trip to New York where I stayed with some friends and ate some good food and I got to see one of my favorite new musical artists named Jacob Collier. He's from the UK and he's got, like he kind of made a name for himself on YouTube like making, like YouTube, like he would perform like little musical things on YouTube. And the guy is just so cool. He plays tons of different instruments and composes his own music of course. And he's kind of, like his style is kind of like rooted in like jazz and funk but he plays all kinds of stuff. So anyway, it was really cool to see him in person. He performed on the Central Park, like the Central Park stage. I forget exactly what they call it but anyway, it's like a small venue in Central Park and it was just so cool, like we lucked out with great weather, you know. And anyways, it's just such a cool venue to see like a person that I really am enjoying listening to right now. Yeah, so now I'm back and just working, you know, back to everyday life. And I am going to go to the Ice Cream Social which I am super excited about and of course I'll be attending the board meeting as well and I think that's going to be my update for this evening. Thanks for hosting Rebecca and a radio wave too. My friends out there and that's about it. KJ7 and UW, back to net. I love New York City. What a nice time of year that you get to go to. It's probably all warm and beautiful. Yeah, it's great. I'm glad that you got a getaway and got to see some music. Got to go out to the park. That's awesome. I'm glad that you take those trips. I love you. Work hard, play hard. 33, Madeline, 88, all the numbers. Thank you so much for checking in. Yeah, and have fun at the board meeting. Alright, this is Rebecca KK7 IJZ. Next on the list is Justin. KK7, QES, what's going on Justin? Well hey Rebecca, this is Justin KK7 QES. 73, hope that you are well. I'm having a very quiet week compared at least to the last few weeks. Me and my family are very much enjoying that. My wife and I like to say sometimes that we just need time to putter around the house. Which I think basically means working on various small projects of relatively little importance. Some that just need done, some that make us happy. But no time pressure to do any of it. So that's what we've been kind of doing this week. It's been nice. So tonight I worked in the garden for a bit. That was cool. My bush beans, which I got so many green beans from my bush beans this year. I had never grown them before. And they were so delicious and it's like one of my girls favorite foods. So they were happy. But they are just starting to tire out. But my pole beans are just starting to come in. So kind of perfect timing. I would say I planned it that way but it's just kind of luck. Anyway, what else? I've had a weather station just mounted on a fence post in my yard for a couple of years. And I've been meaning to put that on a mast on my shed. So I finally did that tonight. And I wanted to get that done because I'm planning to put a solar mesh-tastic node on that same mast. I guess that kicks me into gear to get that one thing done. And then I've been listening to the net and while I'm doing that I've been putting together a new set of radial wires for this portable vertical antenna that I bring with us when we go camping and stuff like that. The radial system that came with it was kind of weird. It was made from a ribbon cable, like a computer ribbon cable. Like the ones that ID drives would be connected to and things like that. Used for all sorts of things really. But it's this giant ribbon of super tiny wires and you had to separate them individually. Each individual strand and then they would break and tangle and just turn into a rat's nest. It was kind of an interesting concept. It didn't work very well in practice. So I'm making a set that will stand up to my clumsy antenna deployment. Anyway, that's what I've got going on here. I hope you're well. I hope everyone is doing great out there. KK7, QES, back to net. Well that sounds great. Well I mean you didn't plan it this year but next year you will plan it. Now that you know about the beans. Beans, beans, beans. It reminds me of this poem I once heard. It goes like this. Beans, beans, they're good for your heart. The more you eat, the more you... Um... Ah! I forget the rest. Darn! Ah, oh well. Maybe someone will remind me. But yeah. Well, thank you so much for your report Justin. I'm glad that you and your wife are taking time to put her around the house. And yeah, House's Never Ending Project. Houses, people, kids, gardens, all of the things. The Never Ending Project. And good luck with the mast. Have a great weekend Justin. Thank you so much for checking in and giving me your report. Last on this list we had an I.O. from Cody, AG7LR. And that was the end of that list. So I am going to... Uh, yeah.
