and you weld inside the hole so you're willing to nut to the bolt and there's not heat there that loses it up. You can add heat with a torch, heat up the cast iron the head itself, put a little heat to that and weld that on there. The time you're done and it walks right out. I did that on a drain plug on a KTM motorcycle. I got my rinse and I could not get that drain plug out. I just took the motor out and then weld the big nut on it but the time that thing cooled I could almost take it out with my fingers. You notice your Dodge has these big long bushings on the bolt and then you go, well why is that big extension on there? Because those bolts, everything heats and cools and stretches. But the longer those bolts are the more about stretch. When you get those little short ones with no length on it, they either pull the threads out or they'll break the stud. So if you ever wonder why you've got those big long bushings or extensions on your RAM manifold there.
