a rotor in a stator, right? So the rotor apart is the part that moves and the stator parts surrounding assembly. So in the Tesla there's like, I don't know, I think there's 20 or 30 different actual stator coils. And so what they do is they took all the magnets out because the magnets were actually slowing it down and removing some of the torque. So they actually have, if you can imagine, two stator coils with the rotor coil kind of at the point where it's in between the two so that the computer generates the signal that the one coil opposes the stator of the rotor and the other coil attracts the rotor. So you have these moving currents through these coils that as the rotor goes around the whole revolution.
