Now these were specific purpose deflection yoke coils for those of you who are old enough to remember what a cathode ray tube is there was an electron beam that got boiled off of a heating element and there was a positive plate with about a hundred volts DC on it to draw the electrons toward the screen and there's like a grid and then we would have to use these these coils of wire around the yoke of the tube to deflect that electron beam to different points of the tube so this is how we used to do things back in the ancient times before LCD and other technologies so Anyway, I just thought that was interesting because we would make our own coils and transformers and all that Good stuff and I just wanted to
