I'm frequently at a station called Blue Lake Trailhead and yeah it's the first day of stage. I like to go down Thursday, spend the night and be ready to go Friday morning as the runners start to show up. There's medical people. It's camp type food, everything from breakfast burritos major order to hamburgers. And last year one of the chefs was in the house, served to kind of meet both and marinara sauce on a bun type of thing and one of those boat shaped paper bowls but it's always good, good fun and you learn so much.
