Yeah, well when I did the Trans-Tasman contest with my friend Scott who lives 45 minutes west of me, he erected a multiband vertical with one of those Icom tuners at the base. What's the tuner that I'm trying to think of? Jeff, it's an Icom tuner. The impedance range is pretty good. It's a remote tuner which people use on their Icom gears for remote stations. I can't remember the model number of the tuner, but anyway, it was a multiband vertical anyway. So that's what we use for the contest that we won. What Steve has set up, which we'll be using tomorrow morning, is a resident, a one-way, it's a multiband 160 metre antenna with a capacity head at the top. So that's what that is. He runs a tuner at the feed point at the base and lots and lots of ground radials, obviously lots of them, but relatively short due to the size of his yard. But he gets that alright. He runs a 100 watts carrier, which is kind of what you need to run on this net because that's what they all run. Anything less than that you might be struggling a little bit. But anyway, a lot of the guys on this net run Marconi T antennas. You know the Marconi T, a lot of them run that. Back to you.
