UV-5R Mini or the TID radio is that ability just plug in a USB-C cable and there's your charger. It's being done right now. Okay so like an MG-390 or something like that it'd be fine. You know something that you might do instead of trying to find a new base. See if there is a updated battery for that radio that accepts USB-C because many of the new battery packs, replacement battery packs even for the old UV-5s and other rad tells etc. Do have the ability just to plug a USB-C so that might be an option. Just look for a new battery with a USB port built in for internal charging. you
