Hello Jack and hello everyone and thanks Jack for doing the Nune Net again. I forget exactly where we are but in the hundreds and a few years and thank you. So I did a tour this morning at Pike Place Market nice and cool, had guests from Houston and asked what brings you to the Pacific Northwest and they said it's cooler here so they were loving it too. And I'm going to be playing around with antennas and stuff this afternoon, loving my J-Pole for this 2 meter but I'm kind of working on a fan dipole. I've got a balcony that's 20 feet wide, south facing, 4th floor and I'm planning to put that out there probably on the other end of a duped duplexer so that I can use the one heavy duty 400 coax as a feed line and then run both of those antennas. I want to get into something with the lower frequency, the 6 or 10 for some distance so we'll see about that. Otherwise I've got a lot going on this afternoon but do have an opportunity to play some loud music like some others have mentioned, might be doing that. I'm looking to see if I can get a stream of what happened in Golden Gate Park over this last weekend. If the quality is not bad I might turn that up if I can find it. That's about it from Wallingford, KI7RYW. Alright, hey good luck with that fan dipole. Now I don't know what happened in the park in San Francisco, maybe you could fill us in real quick on that, but I do want to say this is new net 2080. Back to you David. On the 2080, great job. I've heard that some people say, what is it, most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in 10 years. So you've started to stack up the years here on this, that's a great contribution and of course widely appreciated obviously. As far as what happened in San Francisco over the weekend, it was a celebration of 60 years of the Grateful Dead. Someone mentioned blues based rock and roll and I know that the Grateful Dead covers a lot of different genres, including especially blues based rock and roll. John Mayer, although he was a pop star, also famously dropped out of Berklee School of Music in Boston so he could go down south and play the blues and he came up through actually working little clubs and then he became a big pop star. And then he got recruited to play guitar with Denton Company, what's left of the Grateful Dead. So his guitar is great, he's dead to me and as a band I hear much of it was great, some of it only good. But that's what's great in my experience with that band, the reliability over the decades has always been, yeah okay, hit or miss now and then you hit some misses. Sometimes things are a little weird but generally you're going to have a darn good rock and roll time if that's something that you can get into. So that happened, big three day thing at Golden Gate Park on the Polo Fields last weekend, I was not there of course but it was captured as so many of their shows have been over the decades and I'm kind of looking around online to see if it's available. Otherwise I'll put a record on, I've got some good ones of those too. That's it for me, KI7RYW. Alright David, you know for some reason I totally forgot that that was even going on because I did know it was going on and in fact the number of people who were pretty darn upset was a ticket price for the event $300. Yeah some people remember The Human Being and all those crazy shows they had way back in the day that were all free. Yes indeed, well you can't really do free anymore can you? So I guess, unless it's just a cushy guitar and your voice. Yeah it sounds like a pretty good show that's for sure. Well and I know that archive.org now they have the most Grateful Dead recordings of anybody anywhere that I know of and I thought it was 3000 recordings of live dead shows and I think apparently it's gone up since then the last time I looked so yeah if you want a good show or even one of the offbeat shows that they've done over the many many years they've been around. What's left of them, that's the place to go. Alright well anyway David have a great afternoon and thank you so much. 1257, glad to skipper there. KM7, JMSkipper, what's going on? Good morning Jack, can everybody on the net? Well I have to reprogram my radio somehow today I wiped it out completely so glad I have RT Systems to redo that. How's my audio coming? Does it sound ok? Yeah you're hitting all the receivers doing pretty good, there's a little ticky something, a little clicky type of thing but that could just be that you've just reprogrammed it I don't know but yeah continue on go ahead skipper. Well it stopped raining finally we got like 42 one hundredths of a inch of rain so I guess we're going to do inside chores today. I did take a walk this morning with cyclone in the rain through the woods that was kind of fun but other than that just have to do a little research and find out what the ticking is I'm not sure. Anyway that's all I got KM7, AJM back to Jack. Yeah just a little bit of a, it's interesting. Alright well anyway you know it's not a stop answer understanding every word you say. Glad you had a chance to get out with cyclone, glad you got some rain, glad to certainly welcome, I had a really nice time walking up to the Amazon box to pick up something that came in and it was in the rain and that felt really really nice. Nice to get out. Alright well let's continue on thank you so much skipper have a great afternoon. It's almost one o'clock we're a minute away 1259 I'm Jack KI7RMU on the PSRG noon net let's see who's out there if you'd like to join us come ahead call, sign and name.
