You know, and it wasn't from Mount St. Helens or anything else like that, where the equipment got left behind for a very good reason. He found out that the little diesel engine that was attached to it had died. And it wasn't worth it for them to drag it out and put a new engine in it. So he rigged it up with a Chevrolet 250 in line six. And that engine, he used that little inline six to power it, and he made himself a sawmill that he was cutting all the timbers to build the boat. I never did get to see the boat built. I've seen some pictures of it though. And, you know, like I said, the framework was finished enough where you could definitely tell that it was a hydroplane and he was making it all out of wood. I don't know exactly what species of wood he was using.
