the radio out of storage that I'm planning on using, which is the IC7000. And then Friday evening I got on the 2 meter single sideband net. My first time ever operating, I think anything other than FM on 2 meters. But Nelson, K7 Charlie X-ray had mentioned while I was hanging out on the 40 meter sideband tent up at Field Day about this net. And then I had made a note of it, but I kind of forgot about it. And then he heard me on this repair and reminded me of it. So I got to check in on that on Friday and that was a really fun quick drop. I was told my signal is not as strong as it probably should be of a from my Comet GP9 antenna. And Nelson was telling me I need to get it up in the air higher. It's pretty much mounted at ground level at the moment. And he suggested using a couple lengths of top rail, like I think from a chain link fence. I went to Home Depot today to see if I could force some of that.
