Alright, alright. Well, this is KJ's biological wife, and, uh, yeah, you know, I've had time to digest this a little bit, I guess, and I'm gonna have more time throughout the day to digest and think about it. And, uh, as sucky as this is, and it is, but, I mean, she does a lot for everybody on the net. I mean, she takes me on the website, she builds up the net hosting degrees, she keeps up with the, uh, oh, the list of call plans for Russell a lot of the times. Uh, yeah, she'll be missed. But, I mean, let's face facts here. Some of y'all know each other very well. Y'all been talking on the radio ten, fifteen years. Maybe longer in some cases. But how well do you really know that other person, even if y'all been talking on the air that long? I mean, do you know if people are more beat up by certain topics, or do you not know that? See, I don't know that about any of y'all. Not a darn one of y'all. Um, I have made some friends on here, uh, and to be funny, uh, honest, uh, not to be funny, but to be honest, my last thrill with it, because I don't like people in general. I'm not a people person. Uh, I would much rather just talk with dogs and listen. That's actually why I got my hand radio licensed to listen, for the most part, if I have the legal ability to talk if I wanted to. Yeah, I stumbled across this net. Of all the nets in the world, as they say, I had to stumble across this one. You know, and I like it. No, I really do love it. I bet I had my deals already last in a year. I don't get a lot of the nets. I have checked into a few of the nets on Do Drop In a few times. Um, but I'm not your typical hand radio guy. I'm new. So I want everybody to understand where this is coming from. Hand radio's dying. It's dying. I can't get my friends interested in it. I have really cool technical friends that can do all sorts of amazing things. They're not interested in the radio. And the reason why they always tell me that is because it's old fashioned. It is. I mean, this net is not so much old fashioned. I like listening to the world wide friendship net and nothing against it at all. I enjoy listening to it. I don't check in. I don't care about just checking in and saying I'm on the net. My days gone like this. Bye. And getting off. I like to talk and end on a conversation. I'm going to take a real quick break since the 73s. And this is KJ, right off the huge hill. I listen to it. I do enjoy listening to it. I listen to the other ones on Do Drop In network. I don't take part of a lot of them, but I want to change that. So I say all that so we can learn from mistakes. Everybody makes mistakes. Every company, every person, every government, everything makes mistakes for humans. So with that being said, is this somebody waiting on me? Or is it going to have to wait a few minutes? I got some people waiting on me. Wait a minute or two. But that being said, we don't know if Gabby was looking for a reason to leave or not. I don't think she was at all. But we don't know that. Or at least I don't know that. Maybe she felt like she had too much responsibility and needed it laid out. I understand that. I know people who do that. I'm not saying that's the case. But we just don't know each other long enough to make that determination in my mind. So again, we've got to really find a way to freshen it up. We're down to three quarters of a million licensed operators in the United States. And I've read that maybe a third of them are active. I mean, a gene pool, if you will, is dwindling. And it's because we have things like cell phones and all these other really cool technological things. AI, I've been scouring every day for new AI things in ham radio because that's cutting edge. That makes it fresh. That makes it cool. Just like it was cool back in the 70s and early 80s to get on TV. So that's where a lot of people became ham radio operators is because of how old that cutting edge technology was. We have to move on. We have to go up in ham radio 2.0. There's some YouTube thing on that. But I've never really watched it. I just recognize the name so we can't use that. But that's kind of what I like about this net. It's not your granddaddy's ham radio rag chew net. So I hope I didn't step on any hills in that. I always endeavor not to do that. But my point is still pretty valid. We have to adapt. We have to freshen ourselves up. We have to be inclusive. Very inclusive because we want more people to join this. Perhaps changing the format of the California net a little bit may help the matter. I know that controversial topics that we talk about isn't always the most favorited thing in our community. Three days and three days come the matter that's a pretty easy day to say I know controversial topics on these days. We're gonna keep it low key. So we're more inclusive. I don't know. I don't know if that's gonna be a bad idea. I just popped in my brain. I don't think Monday, Wednesday or Friday because you have me, Dell and Dre. And I don't think that we would enjoy not being able to talk about some of the things that go on in the world for real and not hidden in the world of ham radio. That's a long transmission. I will talk to you all hopefully tomorrow. KJ5, I'll see you back the next show. I think Russell, I just had to take a second to put some ice on my toes. And we, you know, we kind of had it split up. You know, we had it was pretty much every other day. Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays were more controversial than Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays were less controversial. And so it was kind of an every other day type thing there. But, you know, apparently there's such a way to get to the text box. It may not be over the year, but we came to the text box. There was always something going on. Well, we'll strive to do better and we'll keep our fingers crossed and wait for her to come back. Like Ray was saying, when she first got on the net, she was living in her caravan, her out on the border of California, Arizona, down there in that area. And all of a sudden she disappeared for a while. And then all of a sudden she came back and she had a place in Tennessee. So as her life changes and goes on, she might get the itch again and she'll come back, listen. She likes what she hears. She'll come back in and we'll do the better for her. And by the meantime, we'll carry on and fight, fight, fight. I had to throw that in there, Darryl. All right. And maybe Darryl is still listening. Seems how he's probably going to reconnect Michigan once we get down here. And we'll go from there. Of course, when he was complaining about people texting him in the middle of his transmission, I had to text him in the middle of his transmission just to rhythm. You know, because that cat, he needs his protein. And so it was a nice, it was a video of someone that had a burn inside the house and they were trying to get the bird to go out the window and he flipped something on the ground. All right, they're trying to get the bird to go out the open window over on the side. And just as they got the bird to go out, you could see a cat walking up in the background outside the window. And they were able to get the bird to exit the house via the window, but the cat was there and ready to catch the bird and the people that were inside that got the bird out felt really bad. Like, oh, great, we just saved this bird in order to be eaten by a cat. But, all right. So, yeah, just stay tuned. Worldwide Friendship Net coming on directly after this. Daryl will give you more info. He's up next. Daryl, you're up next. KV9NSK and 9OVU. Thank you, Russell, for doing the net. Back to you. Yep, you're up. We can find a conference. All right, thank you, Russell. And, yeah, just to elaborate, and I was paying more attention this last go around, we've lost people over the years, a lot of people, but we've had a lot of people join over the years. So it balances itself out, right? We get new people all the time, and we get people that are not happy with the net for one reason or another. It happens. In this particular case, Gabby will definitely be missed because I consider her a very good friend, and she's helped out a lot with the system, and that will definitely be missed as well. But there's obviously some reason, right? And if it's because of the actions of someone else out here, if there's been anything directed particularly in her direction, and I find out about that, I won't be too pleased. Let me tell you, if I hear anything myself directed toward anyone else out here that's intended to be rude or upsetting to that person, I won't deal with that very well. I'll deal with it quickly, but it won't be very pleasant. The thing that makes this net work is because you can say whatever you want. So restructuring and things like that, no, we're not going to do that. We're not going to do that at all because the reason people are drawn to this net, and I've heard it dozens and dozens and dozens of times over the years, the reason people like that is because it's not like any other net on the air, because you can talk about whatever you want, and that unfortunately upsets people sometimes. People hear things they don't like and whatever, but at the end of the day, I've heard things I don't like. People have called me an asshole over the years, and I say, yeah, you're right. When it comes to certain things, I definitely can be, but that's not going to hurt my feelings. You're not going to upset me. I know there's lots of people out here that don't like me, and there's a handful that I can't stand either, but they're not people that participate in this net. They're people that have got some serious problems, and we had to just distance ourselves from those problems or from those just narcissistic attitudes. Let me reset. So at the end of the day, it's sad. It's unfortunate. I hope she definitely gets back on the air because she's a very pleasant person and a very helpful person and just a good all-around person. But at the end of the day, we've lost people before, and the system does go on. Anybody who wants to join the group is more than welcome. Anyone who wants to leave the group is also more than welcome. So what it boils down to at the end of the day is choice. If you don't like what you hear, if the environment you're participating in doesn't bring you joy or happiness of some sort, then it's not worth participating in anyway. So not to downplay this net or any others, but if it's not the place for you, then it's not the place for you. We've said it over the years here numerous times. This net isn't for everyone. It is for anyone that does want to hang out, that does want to enjoy the company. And make new friends because we are a solid group. We've got group chats, we've got Discord. Most of us out here have all got each other's phone numbers. We chat offline or off-air about particular topics. We share memes and send photos and videos back and forth. We get to know each other for the most part on a friendship type level. But at the end of the day, let me reset again. At the end of the day, you don't know what anyone else is going through. Whether it's in their personal life, whether it's mentally, whether it's just you don't like a particular person or group. So everyone is free to make the choices that they make. And that of course is what contributes eventually to the type of person they are. I'm the type of person you can't really offend me. You can tell the dirtiest, nastiest, filthiest joke and it could be as racist as I'll get out. And if I find it funny, I'm going to laugh at it. And I don't care who thinks that I'm not a good person because I laugh at a joke about the Chinese or a joke about black people or a joke about gays or whatever. Because I laugh at that stuff, it doesn't make me a bad person. It doesn't make me racist or homophobic or any of that stuff. I mean comedy is comedy, right? At the end of the day, comedy is comedy. And I think people just need to be less sensitive. You know, some people just get really and they hold on to stuff and they're really upset about it or really upset by what someone said. And that's never a good thing because you're dwelling on that stuff and you just let it go, right? You'll be a lot happier if you just let it go. And I try not to dwell on things, but I got to tell you, I have been posting a lot of anti-Trump type stuff lately. I don't like the man. I think he's overstepped globally. When it comes to the global economy, he's hurting a lot of countries for no good reason. Trade was fine. Trade really was fine. And Trump is actually delusional. Let me reset one more time. I mean, the man criticizes bills and laws and things like that. And it turns out he blames it on Biden. But at the end of the day, the Biden economy, let's say that he's bitching about constantly. That wasn't the Biden economy. The last time Trump was in, he instituted economic policies that expire in 2025. So all the laws and financial things that were in place, they've been in place since Trump's previous presidency. He doesn't remember that he was the one who signed the original trade deal with Canada that he's all pissed off about now. That was unfair and this and that. Well, Trump, you signed that in your last presidency, but the man doesn't remember stuff. He doesn't have a good grasp on anything really mentally as far as I can see. I see a very, very dysfunctional president who basically turned the world on its ear under the guise of helping America, when in actuality, all he did was hurt America, hurt Canada, hurt the EU, and hurt everybody who does business relations with the United States. And he did it under threat. He did it under executive order. And he did it under force. So I don't like that. That's a dictator, in my opinion. If you've got to rule your country and take away democracy, that essentially executive orders took away democracy. They took away the ability for that thing, that instance, to be voted on. And he just said, no, the hell with the vote, the hell with the democracy. This is how it's going to be and I'm going to do it the way I'm going to do it. That's a dictator. We live in a democracy for a reason. Things are voted on. Things are considered by the government instead of just one person. And I think Trump is just so narcissistic that, I mean, he's sued any media outlet that's had anything negative to say about him. He's filed lawsuits. There's more lawsuits filed in this presidency, as far as I know, than any other that's ever been in history. I mean, it's crazy. The president of the United States is suing media organizations for doing nothing more than exercising their First Amendment rights. Not good, guys. Really not good. If Canada started doing that kind of stuff, we would literally oust a prime minister that was doing that kind of stuff very, very quickly. But for some reason, the American people allow this guy to stay in power and allow this guy to continue doing what he's doing and run reckless over the global economy. I don't get it. I don't get how a lot of Americans, and I know the majority, are against what he's doing. But it takes the rest of the people to realize and speak up against this madness. So that's just my take on the Trump stuff. And anybody that says, yeah, Trump lately is bothering me. When I see stories in the news, yeah, they bother me. They never used to because Canada wasn't involved. I always said before, outsider looking in, I don't have a horse in this race. Well, now I got a horse in this race, and that horse has to win because it's my country's economy that's under attack right now from Trump. And he says Canada is the worst country to deal with. Oh, we put in all these tariffs and all this kind of stuff. Trump, you started this, brother. Canada was perfectly fine. Let me reset one more time, guys. Canada was perfectly okay with when things go the way they were going. We weren't going to mess with the global economy whatsoever. But now we have to, you see? Because Trump has taken direct shots at my country. He's threatened to annex us. He's threatened to kill our economy. He's starting to make it so that Canada has no other choice but to come crawling to the United States. Trump has used terms like, I've gotten so much bullsh** last week, everybody's calling up to kiss my ass. Trust me, you orange goof. Nobody wants to kiss your ass. And he used that word. This is the American president. He used that word. And I was blown away because, trust me, nobody wants to kiss that old wrinkly clementine that you call an ass. They need to call you to try and rectify the damage that you've done. And that's the only reason you're getting any calls from any other countries about anything. Because people are sick of you messing with their economy internationally. And it's disgusting. Anyway guys, stick around for the worldwide friendship net after all that big spiel that I just had. Some of that stuff had to be said. And in regards to Gabby, she'll definitely be missed guys. There's no denying that. And we'll always be welcome back. So that's what it boils down to. And if the result of her leaving was because directly of something someone else said or she was pushed away by someone, I need to be made aware of that because that won't be tolerated. With that, I'm sure everybody have a great day. From here on the rocket, this is V01, UKZ.
