I think you could 20 or so plus be above the ground for sure. But I have not been able to figure out or understand or find anywhere is like the propagation pattern which way is the same pointing? I think if you picture the loop that you set up as a plane, as a picture or a triangle, that is an actual plane or a flat two dimensional plane. I believe that is your angle of incidence. I could be wrong. Well, and it does depend on where you feed it. It might as well be from the apex just like yours. So I think the plane aspect really does come into play. But I think you could feed it from one of the corners down below if you want. I think it feeds you. I'm not the expert on that. Like I said, Chris G4MD helped me set this up. And like I said, for the type of antenna, it is still a compromise because it is low to the ground.
