What goes up must come down so once the smoke plume goes up and it cools and it interacts with whatever weathers in the area at the time You can get suspended particulate Again the the city stuff will stay up there the pH is in the heavy metals and They'll come down at some point in time as a black rain Like I was mentioning if you have a pyrocubinous cloud and starts raining out of it You'll get this black rain almost immediately and the fallout this basically contaminates also contaminated water systems agricultural soils Aquafers and it creates a long-term persistent environmental hazard and in certain cases you can also get a prevalence of again depending on what's burning But you can also introduce more forever chemicals as well that the metals themselves are very problematic But you can also inadvertently introduce some very poor forms of forever chemicals that come out of the soot the city rain
