very happy to say. 40 meters was open and I did notice some activity when I got up again around 9 or so on 6 meters. But last night it was 1 o'clock in the morning. I looked at the grid tracker map and the Aurora Borealis was pushing all the way down through the map south to Iowa, Nebraska and Illinois. It was that far south. And yes major storm conditions, the K index is up to 6 and it hasn't stopped the 6 meter opening that's been there all day today. So a lot to find on HF and VHF let me pause.
