you know when he was really excited when I plugged it in and all the tubes that were supposed to warm up warmed up is that I showed him on my oscilloscope that the local oscillator was generating a signal and he was really excited about that and he said he was gonna put it into the other components that he had see if he couldn't get it to you know give him a bearing as far as the runway goes so I wished him all the luck I got I lost a little money on the deal I think I put like $80 in tubes and I sold it for 50 but you know the experience was what I what I was going for and it was kind of fun I do like myself though the sound of a tube amp when I'm listening to my stereo unfortunately I no longer have my tube amp that I built but I'll probably be building another one when I get a little extra free money
