Okay, well I'm gonna go with that list of few stations. Let's hear from James, WQ 7 H. How are you today? WQ 7 H, this is James. Good afternoon everyone. Hello Cami, hello Robert, and everyone that's out there. Look at those grey skies. I'm just not ready. No, I'm not ready. And hello Joan. Hope you're doing well. I'm, I have mostly my little mobile, little, yeah, it's a mobile antenna. This is a Yay28AS antenna put together. It's sitting atop a speaker stand from Sweetwater. And I gave the other Joan, my Joan, the candy in the box. So I just need to cut, I'm ready to cut radials, but I need to find my tape measure. I can't find my tape measure. Where, oh where, never mind. And then we'll hook it up to some nice coax and we'll apply magic smoke to it and see if it lights. I'm not really thinking that 40 meters will amount to much, not in this neighborhood. But if I'm on the road somewhere where I can sit at a picnic table and light her up as a field unit, who knows what the shadow will bring forth. That'll be fun. I'm kind of looking forward to giving that a try. That'll be fun. And, yeah. Anyway, so we've got the tools. We're going to try out the tools probably tomorrow. I need to find, I need to see in my little chest of goodies. If I have some crimping lugs for the radials. I'm going to cut some for 20 meters and perhaps like 10 or 6 meters. And maybe perhaps 40, you know like 3 sets of 3 or 4 or 6 sets of whatevers. And then I've got a spindle that I can roll them all up on. So I will be, you are not prepared. Sorry, old man. So that's what I'm working on. And I took down all my old, old pictures from my QRZ. And once I kind of have this together, I'll take pictures and get them all up there. I have one picture of the shiny new radio, which I am very much enjoying. It's working for, you know I was able to do HF the past few nights. Working well. Of course, you know the local QRM is there. But that's life. That's life. I'm going to send it back to you guys. You guys. Be well. Enjoy your day. Nice to talk to you, Cami. Hi, Robert. WHQ 7H back to net. Great stuff, James. Thank you for sending that picture of your new radio. It is beautiful. And I hope you enjoy it and make loads and loads of contacts. And just have fun playing radio. Thank you so much for stopping by to tag me with this. It's always great to hear your voice. And I hope you have a lovely rest of your weekend. All the numbers. Next up we have Joan, who is DCW and Joan. I am drinking an oat milk lavender latte. And it's in my double walled cup. So it keeps it warm and so I'm holding it in your direction. Cheers, Governor. How's your weekend going? Cheers. Governor. I'm right on the microphone head shelf. There we go. On a canister. Oh, it's milk lavender latte. Wow. I'd love to taste that just out of curiosity. Oat milk is one of the non-moo milks that I actually can drink. I mean, you know, I grew up drinking cow milk. You know, and we didn't raise calves on our farm, but the neighbors did on both sides. And you know how broader economies work. And we leased our fields to the dairy farmers on both sides, which were all Campbell's. They're all the larger family. There were some old Campbell's to the east of us. And there were young Campbell's to the, I'm trying to get my direction straight. Yeah, to the southwest of us. Yes, on Beattie Road. And Beattie Road, I asked my mother about Beattie Road, and she said when I grow up I could watch some Warren Beattie films. Which I did. The Parallax View is the one that sticks with me. Still gives me nightmares. A film for our times. Absolutely excellent. Oh, I'm not going to sound off yet. Cheers, Governor. Mmm. I am sipping on my patented drone, you know, siphon pot espresso, which I brew by the pot. And which I mocha by with whole organic chocolate milk. And I've taken to using organic milk, by the way. It's still cow milk, but it's organic cow milk. It does cost more, you know. As a gallon of non-organic milk crept up from like three-some dollars up to four-some dollars, I thought, you know, I may as well plunge into the world of this seven-some dollar a gallon organic whole milk. So that's what I've been using. And let's see. Oh! There's a friend, a friend is going to do a, you know, pro bono recording for her. It looks like she's an opera singer and she has some cabaret repertoire that she wants to record. And I think it's a perfect opportunity for me to showcase, if you will, my mid-sized stereo recording technique, which I've used for over 35 years. Um, you know, recording live bands and stuff, which were and probably still are invariably or mostly, you know, mixed in mon-oral. So I would run a synth off of their board, the band's live board, into track one. And then I would run my own size mix of from one to five high quality microphones on the stage. I worked out with Mike with the idea of it being what this mon-oral is leaving out. And I built my own design and built my own mixed out transformer so that in post, oh yes, the size mix will go into track two in a reel-to-reel tape recorder. And then I would mix it down in post. One of the things I would do is I would convert it from mid-sized stereo to left-right stereo. Sorry my chicken's long. But the other item is that, you know, I bought a couple of inexpensive microphone stands because I just want to make sure I, you know, I've only got a couple of mic stands that work. Although I only need one of them for this recording because it turns out this can be heard at a piano. And, but, I have two of them. And I thought this looks like the same diameter as this fiberglass pole, the large one, from the, it's meant to be used with my MSJ2289 ginormous rambier antenna. I wonder if I could just, this is a multi, pull that thing right out, and then swap poles. And sure enough it fits perfectly. It's the same exact size. So now I've got a small tripod, small lightweight tripod that I can just take right off the bottom of the fiberglass pole. Easier, lighter to pack, and I don't know when I get to use it, but it's sitting here in my living room, sit up, and I rather like it. This is KX2CW saying all the numbers to all the M's out there in the vacuum operating on the space. KX2CW, John, I'm down, right back to that.
