Okay, just gonna stop the list there, uh, because I think we're gonna go over. Um, and, uh, I had some doubles, so I know I missed a couple of stations here, so, uh, the stations I have are Mike 7, Bravo, Yankee, Delta, Victor Alpha 7, uh, Hotel Juliet, Papa, I hope I got the call sign right there, uh, Victor Alpha 3, Echo Victor, and 2 Echo 1, Foxtrot, Uniform, Quebec. I'll start at the top of the list, uh, Keith, uh, Mike 7, Bravo, Yankee, Delta, thanks for joining the net, and, um, tell us about, uh, how you use computers in this hobby, go ahead. Uh, this is Keith in the northeast of England saying, first of all, thank you for allowing me into, uh, into the Trans-Canada Net, I'm totally enjoying all of the participation. Uh, great topic, no question about it at all, uh, and, uh, yeah, I use, uh, my, my computer here in the, uh, home, in the, in the home, um, uh, uh, because I have no, uh, ability to erect an antenna, um, so that, that puts me in the position that I'm in. I, I actually love computing, uh, it's been, it was my profession for 20 years, um, so for me, I use the, right now I'm speaking to you on the 3CX client, uh, here on the Windows 10 platform, uh, which is joined through the CIF portal of the Extended Freedom Network of which I'm an admin, um, and I do connect also through Pnot, um, and I also have a Raspberry Pi 3B, and that is, uh, used as my handheld, and, uh, right now I'm displaying the Pi style digital, uh, voice dashboard, uh, on my laptop, and, uh, I'm displaying on my, uh, normal, television screen in the room, uh, the net logger, so, uh, to me it's, it's, it's outstanding, we're able to use computing, um, I actually run a net which will take place after this, I'm sorry about the advertising, uh, myself, and that's called the NewHounds net, um, which takes place every Sunday, and that's at 1900 hours UTC, um, and to me, anybody who's, uh, joining, uh, amateur radio, using PCs, if you've got a license, it's coming out in our life anyway, um, so we, we are all embracing the hobby in its entirety, uh, and I hope that answers the question, uh, once again, uh, thank you for allowing in. Uh, M7BYD, back to the net control, uh, and thank you, Dave, cheers. Uh, cheers to you too, Keith, and thank you, uh, for joining us, and thank you for doing the, uh, the NewHounds, uh, net as well, and, uh, I will jump down the list here real quick, I'm gonna jump to the bottom of the list before I, uh, get the two Canadian stations, 2E0, Foxtrot, uniform Quebec, uh, John, in, um, the one I see in, uh, in Northampton, hope you've got that, uh, QTH correct. John, thanks for joining the TransCanada Net today, and, uh, please tell us all about how you use computers, go ahead. Yes, okay, yeah, it is 2E1FQQ, 2E1FQQ, uh, yeah, um, I like to use the computers, uh, not very often with radio, but I've got, um, I've got APLS, and I like to look at various websites, look at, at the radio, tune the sound of that on the website, uh, and just do some YouTube stuff, um, to do with, uh, to do with the hobby, and, um, I like to watch somebody rally on YouTube and stuff, um, I used to be able to tour the stations through the computer, but I don't tend to do that much on, uh, I prefer to use radios, so, uh, alright, I'm gonna let the last two stations come in and say hello, please, thank you for letting me in, um, hope to chat to you, uh, another, um, another Sunday, um, thank you, 2E1FQQ. Uh, thank you so much, John, it's great to chat with you again, and, uh, I know we've met here on the Net before, and, uh, always nice to, to talk with you. 73, um, I think I got the next call sign wrong, but I'm gonna try it anyway, Victor Alpha 7 Hotel Juliette Papa, uh, please correct the call sign, uh, if I got it incorrect, uh, please join us now. Yeah, hi there, yes, it's, uh, Victor Alpha 7 Hotel Juliette Papa, uh, my name's Charles, I'm in Surrey, British Columbia, and, uh, pretty new ham, uh, my job, I'm a homeschool teacher, and I, I spend a lot of time on the computer during the day, but I don't do a lot in terms of radio and computing, uh, I programmed my fancy Quan Chang K6 with, uh, Chirp, that's about as, as far as I got with that, and I, I hope I'm coming in well today, uh, good morning to all the, uh, amazing hams around the world. Ah, very good, I believe you said your name was Charles, thank you so much for joining the net today, and, um, congratulations, uh, on, on being a new ham, and you're certainly welcome to join us in future versions of this net, and, uh, appreciate you being here today. Alright, my last, uh, check-in is Victor Alpha 3 Echo Victor Richard in Cornwall, thanks for joining the net, uh, go ahead. Yeah, good evening, good morning, good afternoon, uh, yeah, should wake up there, uh, I've been monitoring the net for a while, I find it kind of interesting, uh, doing a technical analysis, uh, actually using the computer, uh, deviation, the, uh, I was just on there, I was running around 3kc deviation, I don't know if he's, and since he's new, whether he realizes it's supposed to be wideband deviation, uh, narrowband deviation, and, uh, the stations from England, and it seems to be on most of the time, they are about, uh, 10, which isn't too bad, and, um, the net station itself is fairly low on the deviation scale, which I guess in the communications we should all be at the same level, and this is what I noticed, and I also noticed that nobody seems to care one way or the other on many different nets that, um, there's different levels, but when you do get into an emergency situation, you would like to have the levels all even, and if you were to, uh, listen to, uh, commercials, police aircraft even, even though it is not FMAM, they're all within, uh, kc of the correct level, but, uh, for some reason we seem to have a problem when it comes to, uh, uh, well, repeaters, assembly repeaters, if you want to call the, the, uh, vehicle link, uh, over back to net control. Yeah, okay, thank you, appreciate that, um, uh, Richard, and, uh, yeah, I'm using a VoIP client, but, um, I know the deviation is probably related to the audio drive, um, and, um, yeah, I usually just do it, do it by ear, um, but you are correct, it would be nice if we were all, um, similar in, uh, in, in, in audio, uh, levels and, uh, and thus, uh, deviation on the, uh, on the FM side. Well, thanks again, appreciate that, and I'm going to close the net here, uh, and say something to everybody, and thank you for joining TransCanada Net as I close off just a couple of minutes late here, and great participation, uh, great enthusiasm, and, uh, passion for amateur radio, and, uh, uh, always look forward to doing this net, and I'll see you again in, uh, oh, obviously, six to seven weeks' time, uh, for the net, hopefully we'll catch you, uh, on here, uh, sometime before that, and net control, uh, next week, as far as I know from the schedule, is Chris, Victor Arco 3, Romeo, Whiskey, Juliette, always great net control station, uh, amongst the other net control stations, uh, that, uh, you'll hear here as well. And, uh, 73 day, everybody, and I will close down the TransCanada Net for this Sunday, August the 3rd, 2025, uh, 73 from Victor Arco 5 uniform, Oscar.
