The next one is about a 550 mile long lightning bolt that extends across five states, and this is the longest ever recorded. This here isn't something new, however the data around it is, because of the size of this lightning bolt, they weren't able to accumulate enough data to be able to say a certainty just how big or how long this lightning bolt was until recently.
