light icon on the front panel in the upper right hand corner. Do you have the UV 5R mini or do you have the mini 5 with the actual flashlight icon? So do you say 5R mini? The box says 5R mini. If you take the battery off the back it says the UV-5R mini. To turn the flashlight on and off is this button right below the display. That's kind of a broken square with a line to the middle. So it's got like just the corners of the square and a line to the middle. I have no idea what that's supposed to mean. But if you push that, you see, oh maybe I'm pushing that and it's not doing anything. But I swear it's
