And this region is very geologically active and it has a whole host of many volcanically and seismically active sites according to study. And so despite the hostile environments, these newly documented communities were just flourishing in these environments. Though the point is that if life could flourish in these extreme environments, these geomorph files, then it's quite possible that life elsewhere doesn't need the conditions here on Earth to survive. They may be able to survive in conditions that are far too harsh for trust in the light to survive here on Earth.
