And it was 11 Cats. It was 11 Cats on Echo Link. Somehow, I don't know how, but somehow I started hearing about Echo Link and I thought, well, I'll give that a shot. I didn't have my General yet, so I thought this would, and I wasn't having a whole bunch of luck with my UV5R standing in the backyard, especially at night. At night, I'd try to go out to try to get that line of sight to the repeater and I'd go out there with my Bofang UV5R and at night, it's a lot more difficult to see the dog poop in the yard. So, I don't know, somewhere I figured out about Echo Link and I started trying to figure out online how that thing worked and who I could talk to. I do remember seeing that 11 Cats, I'll try this, see if this works, and that was a Sunday AFC. Yeah, I remember them. And the HF, I want to say, I don't have the guy's call sign, but I want to say that was Southern California somewhere and I was blown away. I was like, whoa, sitting here in Texas and got Southern California right off the bat. That afternoon, I think I got Southern California, Las Vegas, and New York City. New York City! And so, anyway, Mike, thank you all for this. Mike, thank you all for this net tonight. And I definitely had fun and we'll see you guys tomorrow at the AFC. KM5Y, this is KJ5FOX. This is KJ5FOX, Kilo Kilo 7, November, Quebec, November. All-star, Node 6222, located in Shelton, Washington. KJ5FOX, KM5Y, Chad, thank you. That was pretty cool right there. And yeah, I think most of us remember our first contact. I remember my first contact on VHF. I do not remember my first contact on HF because by that time, I thought I was a pro and now I wish I would have. I've got it logged somewhere, though. I could look it up. It sounds like you're gonna be an ICOM guy.
