and KM5Y in their control. Bruce K-67YFE. Well, I was up at Oro Hall Park one day in the merry, merry month of May. Went to my surprise right before my eyes. Did a brand new HD. But I wasn't licensed yet. No. But anyway, I was up there at a summer camp for the blind and up there at Oro Hall Park. I had to go and make a little bit of a smile on someone's face, you know, with that. But that little merry-merry month of May, walking through the park, back to what I was talking about. And one day I was up there at camp. It was about the very first year I went up there and I saw a big HF station. But I thought it was a CD at first. Well, yeah, I was into CD for a little bit. About 95 anyway. But it was OK. But I thought I'd try to get to start studying for my ham ticket about probably 90s, about right around 96 or so. I think it was 96 or something like that when I ran into that one guy that was up there at the camp with a two-meter handheld. It was one of them HGX 202s. And a matter of fact, that was actually my first rig, was a 202 from Realistic, a Radio Shack brand. But yeah, but really, I got my license in 97. And it was the same here that I got my third and last guide dog I had. So while I was in training, I had received my ticket and my call. Well, first it started out as XFE. But then, you know, is it either XFE or is it YFE? Which one do I do with here? Man, come on, dude. But it finally is YFE, and it's stuck with me ever since. And I started studying. Let me grab a nickel here. It just so happened I got my technician license in 97. So I skipped over the novice and the Tech Plus because I think they were pretty much one and the same. I think they were anywhere from five to 13 words a minute or so. But started studying the code and got 13 words a minute general license and then kept on going, gotten my advanced. And right around 1998, I got my extra. So I took a year of hard studying. So that's where I'm at right now. I should get back into my Morse code and get back into AHF a little more than what, you know. I'm starting to get back into that too. So and working with, got to start working with this DMR too. So anyway, it's a fun hobby, and I enjoy it. So with that, the CHA5SSR Net Control and the group, KC7YFE, thank you for having me in here. And let's keep coming back to the litter box lounge, folks. Well, that's right. You never know what you're going to get in the litter box. A bunch of people scratching around. Hi, hi. But thank you, Dale, KC7YFE. And that was quite an interesting story. I had no idea. So sounds like you really have come a long way. And we sure appreciate you, Dale. You will hear Dale. You will hear Dale. All right, it's time to start the 73 round. Probably maybe about halfway through you will call to see if anyone wants to join. KM0UUB73 over to you, Graham, if you're still there.
