I'm from N.Y.T. Yeah, it's good to talk to you, Mike. I know you talked about you was going to take me fishing someday. I need to take you up on that deal, get out of the house a little bit more. But, yeah, it was good meeting you guys at the ham fest. I haven't been to one since then, but... Yeah, my journey into the amateur radio... I had a CB when I was a kid. That was like the big thing. CBs, you remember, they had songs and movies about them and stuff. I grew up in South Florida down there and had a base station in my house there. And later on I'm an electronic technician by trade, so I went to technical school at Waco. And, you know, went through that program. At the same time, though, I was studying to get my FCC Class C license, which was a book I bought, and I was studying that. And it was a lot of vacuum tubes. Most of it, a lot of that stuff was vacuum tubes. Amplifiers, transmitters, all that stuff. I think you might have to do a code test to pass that too, but I never did take the test. And so, but I've always been interested in radio communications, and I knew a lot about antenna design and how that stuff worked. Back when I was studying to get that license, I knew a lot. Of course, I forgot all about it as life went on, you know. And then after they stole that 2020 election, me and my friends, a couple guys I knew on Facebook, little survival prepper-type groups, said, hey, let's all get him radio licenses so we can communicate, you know, if things go really bad. And then that was, you know, 2017, February, I got my license. Of course, I was the only one in the group to do it, and I never, I quit talking to that whole group because I got paranoid that, you know, maybe the government was monitoring us. So anyway, but then I learned a lot more about it. Let me break for a minute.
