KJ5FOX, yeah, so I think that's what started it all, was just being able to be more prepared in communication. And I mentioned the Morse code and the Winlink. On my shopping list, I've got a IC705 that I'd really like to have. I think they're a little pricey. It's a pretty small VHF, UHF, HF radio. It'll work with Winlink. I think they'd be a really nice radio to have with you all the time. So being prepared. I think that's it. Now, since I've been in, there's a world of things with a ham radio that I want to play with. But I think that's how it started. And it's always in the back of my mind, is just being prepared.
