That's a great story and we got about 90% of it. I think your internet gave out there for about 30 seconds. Missed a little bit but we got almost all of it and thanks for letting us in on that. That's crazy that you learned all that stuff and then had to take the test. Later on, yeah, I think a lot of us probably got started in CB radio if you're a certain age that is. There's probably an age out there now that I've never heard of a CB radio. It's kind of similar for us. There was talk about the power grids going down and we were actually losing power once in a while. The infrastructure was getting behind and we thought, man, we better have a way to communicate just in case something bad happens. That was part of it. There's more to the story. The hobby has done so much for me personally because I was afraid to talk most of my life. I was just an introvert and even when I got my license, I sat back here, my technician, I sat back here on the back porch for three months holding an HT, listening to the Irving Repeater, I heard this group talking on the Irving Repeater every single morning and they were doing a morning prayer. I thought, man, I found the right channel. So I sat out there for three months listening to these guys every single morning and it took me that long to get up the courage to throw my original call sign out, Kilo India 5 Romeo Romeo Delta is what it was. It turned out to be the best group of guys I've ever met in my life. The ham community is just awesome. I couldn't believe that was the biggest thing I found out right away. What a great bunch. It's been a blessing that I got into it. Thank you, Lynn. Appreciate it. I hope you'll show up a little more often. We love talking to you and we'll take you fishing one of these days. I promise. KI5 SSRK and 5Y, over to you for some more check-ins. Absolutely, KI5 and YT. Lynn, come fishing with us sometime. You'll enjoy it. Don't feel weird or bad because that was some of the reasons we did it. What's funny is Mike really was sitting out there with that HG and every day I'd walk out there and ask him, are you ever going to talk or are you just going to sit? He was just like, ah. Then he was studying for his general. I think he already had his general before he even spoke a word, I'm pretty sure. Anyway, Scott, N7FGP, if you can hang on. Let's go ahead and take some more check-ins. You'll be the first one up. Everyone, welcome to the litter box lounge. We are now looking for check-ins. If you'd like to join us, come with your call twice slowly and in regular phonetics, followed by saying your name now, please. Go ahead.
