fluorescent tubes don't get that hot, so I wouldn't expect that a water stream hitting them would have had that effect, but I never ran that experiment. Well, I think there's enough heat there that the difference between a nice cold stream and that heat on that glass just did the trick. Anyway, back to that earthquake.
