trolley northern rows of the southeast tip of San Juan Island where it's shaping up to be a pretty nice day I think. Temperature is 55. The wind was calm until a few minutes ago. Now it's southeast, south-south-east, maybe about six to seven knots. Just light ripples on cattle paths, most of which are caused by the current tides going out. In fact, I just saw an amusing sight a few minutes ago. A fairly large sailboat was trying to tack out cattle paths and the current is going the correct way it's going south. But it went by completely sideways past our deck. Sales up and taking a port tack, or I guess it would have been a starboard tack over toward Lopez Island, but the current was making the boat move sideways so it was an interesting sight. At least he's getting toward where he wants to go.
