But yeah, I literally would not be impressed if that happens to me again that I blow another speaker because of a loud transmission. I'm not going to be pleased about it. It happened once before and it was a very expensive ICOM, a D-Star radio that had the speaker blown out. It was on South Carolina, I'll be honest, when they were doing that. Good morning, that big yellow thing they do at the beginning. It blew my speaker man. That radio has not had sound ever since, probably eight or nine years ago now, but still just the fact that it happened and they made fun of it over there. They would laugh and joke about it saying, oh well we need to give a warning now, turn your volume down everyone, ha ha ha, and that just pissed me off even more. That they acknowledged it and then they continued to do it. They just justified it by giving a warning beforehand and it is loud transmission where someone is screaming into their mic. I mean after it blew someone's speaker and then joke about it, man I was a long time man.
