You know, starting in a vertical antenna at $400 or $500 is inaccurate. You can make a vertical antenna for about $40 worth of equipment. You get a collapsing fishing pole and then you cover it with, you take the segments apart, cover it all with aluminum tape, wrap some wire around it to make it coil near the base, stick that on a spike, shove it in the ground. You can use like a Faraday cloth that people use to wrap their heads to keep the wet. You can use that on the ground for a ground plane and you can spread out wires for a ground plane. And you've got a perfectly functional vertical antenna that will make contracts around the world. I'll show you on that one. I didn't make it and I made that one. Yeah, just a bunch of tools today.
