high power chargers for them to even know it's connected. So yeah you want to use a low power charger. Cell phone one should work though as long as it's not like 45 or 50 watts but yeah it should work but I just recommend you use the brick that came with it and you can disconnect that cable from the back of the charge dock and just plug it right into the radio so it works both ways. But yeah I tried mine bill and one of those high power chargers will not even recognize the batteries plugged in.
