radio right on the very bottom of your radio there's going to be a charge port down there right at the very bottom of your battery there's a light and then there's a charge port so if you want to you can unplug the charge cable from that little drop-in dock and you can plug it into the bottom of your radio there's a port on the side too you don't charge with that one that one's for something else you know your charger cable will fit in there but it will not charge the radio the only way to charge the radio with the cable is plug it into the bottom of the radio on the bottom of your battery if you look at it if you look at it you'll see a little charge port down the bottom of the battery the cable that plugs into the back of the drop-in dock you unplug that and you can plug it right into the radio without using the charger dock that button you were pressing up
