Are you going to take trips down to North Carolina? Unless something comes up, no. I don't think I'll be going down there until probably around Christmas. So you'll be staying put this fall? Awesome. Sounds like a plan. Hey Patrick, look forward to catching you next time on the clock to break nets and stay cool. And to DYI, AI6JP73. And do you have a good one, Ws? You are not a W, are you? AI6JP and WYI. No, I'm not a W. Good morning, Ron. KA6UAI. How are you doing today? KA6UAI. Oh, I'm doing pretty well. The repeater got kind of fuzzy. I don't know when that happened. But I'll have to go out there and see if maybe a squirrel is climbing up my antenna or something. Something got it's strain sounding and sounded really great earlier. But anyway, not much happening today. I'm going to go out and finish cutting some wire. I had some 17 foot radials and I'm dividing them up with connectors to make various lengths. For tuning them I'm going to try the PODA performer type raised radials. Let me see if I can find something to support them on at the end and then maybe get some long stakes that will punch into the ground easy to do that. But making a couple of those at least, maybe four, out of the eight ground radials that I have and how it goes. But I'll call it the PODA pretender, I guess. It's the fake home built version that doesn't come with any parts.
