Everybody else was set up with the FDA and they had way bigger antennas and I had one little bunch of stuck in the ground and that was even a yaggy with two meters and 70 centimeters. Hope I could hear somebody But so I kind of gave up on that because there was nothing going on in two meters and 70 centimeters at least I could hear Then I finally got the HF out and did 40 meters at five watts and also I got this really clear signal It was the cola with the colverado club right across the water and still with them And so there was my one contact and then I was gonna give up completely and then I realized nobody was sitting on 15 Or at least in the high of 15 point higher than the FTA So I got on there and I heard this one person nobody was just spotted to him and so I responded to him And I'm not very competitive and he responded back. So I got second contact He was all the way in Washington DC Here I was on five watts. So I was excited about that. So that was my my field day experience K1KRT back to that
