in this day and age. But otherwise, yeah, CD is great. So back to you, Chris, do you play a CD? Yeah. Those early CDs in the 80s, some of them sounded amazing. And some of them didn't because the people who transferred the stuff over from vinyl didn't really understand the new medium. And there were some very bad CDs early on too. And then, yeah, as you're talking about, thanks to digital limiters being available, starting in the mid, I guess the mid 90s, someone else would know the history better. We got the loudness war. Everyone started squashing their stuff, trying to get everything as close to zero dB as they could. And it's silly, as you say, gets rid of all the dynamic range. And it's still going on, unfortunately.
