Joan KX2CW, Joan on Broadway, perched in the Capitol Hill Behavioral Observatory. And right now it's Friday night on Capitol Hill, the most urban neighborhood in Seattle, a mixed residential entertainment district, what would you call it? So yes, there are more bars per square block here in this neighborhood than in most of Seattle and most cities. You know, my other place was relatively off the main drag and there were still something like, there was not like 20 bars within the block in here, I don't even know how many it is. But I did not go out to one of them, instead I went to our gathering on Friday evening, where some of us get together in a community room and mostly conversation, mostly social interaction. I'm so glad that I've landed myself in this community, in this senior apartment here, right in the epicenter of Capitol Hill on Broadway Avenue in the Pike Pine corner, between Pike and Pine. And let's see, what else, I went grocery shopping, got about $20, no more like $30 worth of groceries, which is just a few things. And let's see, what else, oh I discovered that my microphone has actually been switched into a cardioid pattern instead of a figure eight pattern with a null plane, which is why probably, you know, my talkback speaker, which is on right now, is supposed to be in the null plane, the null plane of the figure eight pattern, pick up pattern. And someone heard it in the background somewhere, of course mind you, you can hear, you know, ammiosis, fire engines, police cars, the sirens, and big loud noises come from outside, they come in the windows that are just cracked. Anyway, I did get out and about, I did some socializing, and now I'm back in my apartment. And I'm going to go to the Recovery Cafe tomorrow, because I miss my women's circle about every other time it seems. But then what this, this weekend after this weekend, is that where we've got our rain or shine, I think that's right. I can look it up again, but if you know, you can tell me. Anyway, there's so much I could tell. Oh, there's some cops, there's a sound of cops. Okay, and an aide's car. Yeah, somebody's having a bad day. No fire engines, but the fire department's own ambulance.
