to repeat or split and then put the radio so either a DN appears rather than FM or DN with a line over the top just depending on which radio it is and then it's in digital mode and you don't need to do anything else. There's no PL tones, no other squelch control or anything. What you do need to do though is if they are running AMS which is both analog and digital on that new repeater on your non-digital radio, make sure that you put a CT CSS on your receive. Otherwise every time somebody keys up in digital mode you're going to get that digital hash coming through your radio as long as they're transitive to the C4 FM but if you have a CT CSS
