I want him to stop destroying whatever he's destroying, so I get up and I open the door and let his ass back out again. So he knows that if he tears something up, when I don't respond immediately, that I'll get up and I'll open the door. And it's just, I don't know how to get him out of it. Anybody got any suggestions? I don't want to spray him with water. Some people say spray him with water with a water bottle, a mister, and they don't like it. Well, they also will get to hate your guts, and every time they see you come and they'll run away. I don't want that relationship with my parents. I want them to feel comfortable and all the time when they're inside their own house, right? And I think spraying them with a mister, they're just not going to like you too much. I did that with my oldest cat years ago, and she still hasn't gotten over it. I got a reset.
