We don't have no crawdads up here, no cicadas, nothing like that. There's shrimp though. I like shrimp. Yummy. And one thing that's kind of unusual is the eels out in the Yukon, in the fall the eels run. Usually in November, the lamprey eels, they get, the big ones are like two feet long. They're super greasy. You got to boil or cook, I pry the grease out of them. Some people bake them, but those are really greasy. Some people jar them. Canyon jars. They're actually pretty good too. The lamprey eels, I was surprised. I thought that would be gross, but they're pretty delicious. They're high oil content. Get the oil to cook the grease out of them.
