This is KJ5 MCV. Thank you brother. Way to start us off. You're sounding great by the way. All right, let's do it. Tonight's trivia question. What is the capture effect in FM communications? Alpha, the moment your spouse catches you sneaking another radio into the shack and asks, how long have you had that one? Bravo, the phenomenon where a hamfest vendor captures your attention with a $20 radio and somehow extracts $300 from your wallet. Charlie, the tendency of every radio project to capture your entire Saturday, your budget, and at least one trip to the hardware store, or Delta. When two FM signals are present on the same frequency, the stronger signal tends to be suppressed or capture the receiver, making the weaker signal difficult or impossible to hear. I'll read it again after I drop for you.
