new Portland Southwest. I've not been in this game for very long, even though I've gone into Media License now I've not actually been in the game that long. I've been using a lot of FM on UHF and VHF because that's the easiest to start off with but I'm quite enjoying now learning a single side band and seeing what I can get in that and I'm learning a lot about propagation so I'm trying to get in a 10 meter and 20 meter band. A big learning curve for me but it's quite enjoyable and I don't mind trying all sorts of other things I'm gonna get into doing FD8 and FD4s as well in due course and I've got it all linked up to computer and we'll see whether the hobby takes me.
